Who Should be Baptized

  1. 1

    Those who are receiving the new heart of repentance (feeling about things the way God does) and receiving a changed life. Matthew 4:17; Acts 2:38

    Those who are willing to die to self and let Jesus live in them. Galatians 2:20; Romans 6:3, 4; 2 Corinthians 5:17

  3. 3

    Those who believe in Jesus and His doctrines; and choose to be followers of this repentant, dying-to-self, man. Mark 16:16; Acts 8:37; Matthew 28:19, 20

    Those who wish to become part of the body of Jesus Christ (the church). John 8:31; Acts 2:47; Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:18

When we pray and die to self like Jesus did, miracles will happen to us, just like they did for Christ. We will not only have the companionship of angels, our hearts will be so transformed that others will take note, that we have been with Jesus.
